At CBD Supermarket we are proud to operate a transparent CBD production system. Our hemp plants are organically grown in Europe from EU certified seeds, across a 300 acre hemp farm. We harvest them by hand to ensure maximum quality of the crop and then dry them at very low temperatures to keep all of the cannabinoids intact.
The dried hemp plants are sent to the Olimax extraction facility in Poland, a GMP and HACCP certified facility. Here, various extraction techniques are used to separate the cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids from the plant material, forming a thick, viscous raw extract oil. This is then distilled to produce our full spectrum CBD distillate. With further processing we remove the THC to produce our broad spectrum distillate oils, or heat the product to form CBD isolate.
The final raw materials are sent to our production facilities and offices at the Innovation Centre in York Science Park, situated on the University of York campus. From here we package/prepare the final CBD products, ready for our customers. As we work with our products from seed to shelf, our CBD production is the most traceable and transparent on the market & we ensure the highest quality products for you and your customers.
